Thread: Size 10 variegated thread
Hook: Size 7 Boyle
Directions:
Rnd. 01: Ch 4, trc in 4th ch from hook *ch 2, 2 trc, in 4th ch from hook*, repeat from * to * 4 times, ending with ch 2 join. ( 12 trc, 6 ch 2 spaces)
Rne. 02: Sl st into next trc, and into ch 2 sp. , ch 3, 2 trc, ch 2, 3 trc in 1st ch. 2 sp. *3 trc, ch. 2, 3 trc* in next ch 2 sp. repeat from * to * around, ending with sl st in beg. ch.
Rnd. 03: Sl st, in next 2 trc, and into ch 2 sp. Ch 3, 2trc, ch 2, 3 trc, in 1st. ch 2 sp. *ch 5, 3 trc, ch 2, 3 trc, * in next ch 2 sp. repeat from * to * around ending with ch 5, join in beg. ch.
Rnd. 04: St st in next trc, ch 3, trc in next trc. 3 trc, ch 2, 3 trc in 1st ch 2 sp., trc in next 2 trc, *ch 5, (skip next trc, the ch 5, and the next trc,) trc in next 2 trc, 3 trc, ch 2, 3 trc in ch 2 sp, trc in next 2 trc. * repeat from * to * around ending with ch 5, join in beg. ch.
Rnd. 05: Sl st into next trc, ch 3, trc in next 3 trc, 3 trc, ch 2, 3 trc in 1st ch 2 sp. trc, in next 4 trc, * ch 3, sc around both ch 5 spaces, ch 3, skip 1st trc. trc in next 4 trc, 3 trc, ch 2, 3 trc, in ch 2 sp, trc in next 4 trc* repeat from * to * around ending with ch 3, sc around both ch 5 spaces, ch 3 join in beg ch.
Rnd. 06: Ch 1, sc in same st, sc in next 6 sts. hd, dc, trc, ch 3 picot, dc, hdc, in ch 2 sp. sc in next 7 trc. 2 sc in next 2 ch 3 sp's. * sc in next 7 trc, hd, dc, trc, ch 3 picot, dc, hdc, in ch 2 sp. sc in next 7 trc, 2 sc, in next 2 ch 3 spc's* repeat from * to * around join in 1st sc.

I would like to try this pattern, however, I'm wondering about the beginning. Ch3 tr in 4th ch from hook. Am I missing something? It looks like a beautiful snowflake. Ida

Thank you for calling my attention to this pattern. It is supposed to be ch. 4 which I have corrected in the directions. I hope you will try the pattern again, and enjoy making it.
